A medium Structural Engineering job in Wavell Heights North, QLD
I wish to remove a wooden support beam that is supported by two metal posts and replace it with a steel support beam to open up the area. The span of the room is about 7.5 meters and the structure above is one floor (3 berooms and a bathroom) in a split level home. This job is to convert a garage space into a utility room.
I am looking for a structural engineer that can advise on the beam(s) required. The work to replace the beam will be completed by my builder.
