Ben from Sydney’s north shore has been using ServiceSeeking.com.au for three and half years for a range of projects on his home.
“I’ve had some minor plumbing work done before, but my latest renovation through ServiceSeeking.com.au was quite major”.
Ben bought his top-floor apartment in a decrepit state with the intention of doing a significant renovation. He posted a rough ad with photos on ServiceSeeking.com.au and received a quote from a structural engineer – a service he wasn’t even aware he required for wall removal.

As Ben and his engineer refined the materials, logistics and sequence of the work, he posted a second, more detailed job to find a builder. He received quotes from five different businesses but eventually chose Masters Empire Group “as they were very comparable but gave me confidence and sounded better resourced”.
Three days before construction started, the original structural engineer pulled out at the last minute. Luckily for Ben, Masters Empire Group were able to find a replacement engineer the same day so that the original renovation schedule could go ahead.

“They had a massive job on their hands. They knocked out a structural wall and basically guttered and rebuilt the place from the inside out. They had to demolish the existing bathroom, wallpaper, and carpet and repaint everything. They also installed new wood laminate flooring and did all the plumbing and electrical work for the new kitchen.”

Ben says that Masters Empire Group were “incredibly well resourced” and got the job done “quickly and efficiently”.
