Meet Theo.

His business Allfix Handyman Services started out as a hobby, but after doing a few jobs and experiencing the industry, he realised how much he liked the trade and “making customers happy”. Theo now operates a fully insured handyman service in Sydney’s east, providing general all-round jobs such as home maintenance care, interior and exterior painting, flat pack assembling, pressure washing and much more.

Theo says one of the best things about being a handyman is that that you never know what to expect each day.

“I enjoy the fact that no one job is the same, it is never boring. Providing quality and reliable service is such a pleasure.”

When it comes to connecting and building loyalty with his customers, Theo’s good communication skills are a strong asset.
“I like meeting new customers … I’m a people-person and make customers feel comfortable when I am in their home doing a job.” he says.

Theo currently has one of the best rated businesses in the eastern suburbs of Sydney on ServiceSeeking.com.au. He says his 39 positive reviews and 4.9 stars are important for his business because they help customers “make the right decision and choose me for the job.”

Good reviews aren’t the only thing that puts Theo above his fellow competitors. He says that when it comes to running his business, professionalism and organisation are key to attracting new customers.

“I also quote promptly which shows that I provide an efficient service and are therefore more likely to get the job”, he says.

When asked what his most memorable job has been, Theo recalls one of his first jobs as a handyman.

“I was painting a bathroom. I didn’t realise I had the paint tray inside the bath tub and I accidentally stepped inside it, and before it was too late, my shoe and sock was all soaked in paint. I had to ring my wife to bring me new shoes from home before continuing the job, luckily it was local.”
