Harvey Norman back in the 80s & still in business!

What can your business learn from Harvey Norman?

Harvey Norman is best known recently for his ravings about overseas online traders, however he finally moved into online shopping last month. And things are looking pretty promising. Despite an unannounced launch, the online store took $50,000 in orders on its first night.

It's likely that eventually the millions of dollars Harvey Norman pays in advertising in newspapers and television could disappear as the company moves online.

So what can your business learn from this (apart from the fact that online is clearly where it's at!)?

It doesn't matter how slow you've been to give your business an online presence, it's still worth making the move.

If your business has been strictly bricks and mortar for the past decade or so, I'm sure you're nervous to venture into the online world.

Never fear! We have plenty of web developers on the site who can give you advice and whip you up a simple website from $500.

If a company that was showing the below (classic) ad in the '80s can do it, there's no reason why your business can't too.

Check it out, what a gem!
