What does your business do?
Our core business is light truck rentals based in the Illawarra region of NSW. We are a new business (5 months young) and have found that doing smaller removal jobs is a great way to gain extra business income when trucks are not rented. ServiceSeeking.com.au has proven to be a great investment with approx. 85% of our removal jobs coming through the site within our first 4 months of operation.

Approx. 30 jobs.

Approx 20 new customers.

Is ServiceSeeking.com.au successful in helping you win work?
Yes definitely! ServiceSeeking.com.au is a great way to win work given that you can pre-plan dates and times to suit your business movements and in most cases offer the customer a cheaper rate because of multiple jobs in the area or on return trips (Backloading). 

What other types of marketing does your business do?

  • Online including our website www.easymoovers.com.au, Yellow Pages online, business listings like True Local & Start Local etc.
  • Flyer mailouts – both bulk un-addressed and smaller targeted mailouts.
  • Brand recognition/awareness by having an easy to remember logo and 1300 phone number spread across all of our advertising materials such as truck Signage, flyers, business cards etc. 

How do they compare to ServiceSeeking.com.au?
They each have there benefits for truck rentals but for removal jobs ServiceSeeking.com.au is number one! Any further removal jobs are either referral based or repeat customers.  

Any tips for new businesses?
Always plan your jobs together and keep a close eye on jobs that need to be done ASAP as there a great way to make extra profit on return trips.
