Hi Jeremy, Daniel & Oliver, Firstly I would like to say what a great website and am a bit surprised it is not advertised more as I found by accident after weeks of looking. 1) RAPID - I initial offered the job to rapid with the agreement of $1,000 which is what I thought the job was worth, keep in mind I was ignorant to the cost of jet blasting. We set up and appointment and Jason did not even bother to show or return my call. In the end after several text's and calls he said he was not interested as he could not do the job for that amount due to jet blasting. From an enthusiastic trades person to very despondent was very disappointing. He did not even attempt to renegotiate which was very disappointing. Jason also stated on his quote he will beat any price and has failed on all accounts. I would like to point out at this point of time we are about to do a major overhaul of our units with new veranda's and a total innovative trendy look to the whole building. We are on a major transport link in a street with very nice houses and parks and when the units are completed it will change the whole look of the street and in turn the area as we are the only viewable units on this link. He was offered on top of this pending on the quality of work the plumbing Strata Contract and was also allowed to advertise his business name out the front of the building when the other works were taking place. 2) The Chief Plumbing has been awarded the works and also the Strata Contract. Lloyd has been very professional and a very amiable young man. He is about to do the works to day and from what I have seen so far feel he will do a very good job. His prices are considerably less than the average rate hence as he says he feels that too many people are over pricing in today's market. I could not agree with him more as I am a Project Manager by profession all be it not in construction however I work closely along side construction to delivery multi million / billion dollar projects and am very interested not only in my company but also in this Strata project to test the waters as to what is out there as I know Strata charge far too much. 3) PLUMBCITY PTY LTD - was blown out of the water as the job is only worth $800 to $1,200 in my estimate. I felt they did not have a good handle on estimating and did explain why I was not interested and what they missed out on as I have seen too many good companies get lost in the quoting system. They were very grateful for the advice and I wished them well in the future. Again fantastic website however not as well advertised as I would have thought also the website is not user friendly i.e when you sent out to win 10K the link does not take you their and the other thing is recommending someone their is no offer to email to a friend. Lloyd is a great bloke and excellent plumber. We ended up adding our under-house drainage to the list of jobs to complete. Lloyd completed this job for us in good time and our sub-floor drainage is now as it should have always been!
He was really efficient and had the right equipment with him to cut out a piece of our kitchen bench which was lucky because we didn't expect that this was necessary.

LLoyd (The Chief Plumbing) was terrific! The job was tougher than originally specified. Lloyd completed it all without additional charge or complaint. We can highly recommend him as a Plumber.
I was able to book a required start time (not a block of hours like other companies who keep you waiting at their leisure) - The Sheriff even turned up early. Job took longer than expected (as multiple drains were actually clogged) but we were given a discounted price to the original phone quote. The Sherrif was professional and courteous (even removing his shoes to travel over a section of carpet we had not covered with dropsheets) so I would happily use his service again and recommend him to others.
