Firstly we just took out the 4th spot in NSW with wedding photography through the 2011 Australian Bridal Industry Academy Awards. We placed in 4th spot with an average score voted by our brides of 99.80%.
At Global Sanctuary, we have a team of 9 photographers who will travel all over the state and interstate to attend your event. They are technically & artistically savvy with a wealth of experience, so rest assured... you are in good hands. We are now in Queensland also and travel the country and the world to shoot for our clients.
We will select the perfect photographer especially for you.
Every member of our team has exceptional people skills and work from the heart.
When it comes to weddings, each wedding is for us, like a blank canvas to an artist.
We never know how we will shoot on the day until we arrive.
As wedding photography is such an emotional service, we assess and analyse every single wedding in a unique way to suit the couples personalities and personal style. The way we shoot on the day depends on the weather, the available natural light, the personalities of the couple and their families & guests, the locations and the overall vibe of your special day. This is the reason we find it unnecessary for couples to meet their photographer before the day as we will form our own assessment from the moment we arrive to ensure your photography style suits the feel of your day & you as a couple.
The website is a collection of everyone's work. Our amazing team are trained in Global Sanctuary's unique style of photography & they then add their own personal stamp for a unique end result.
In six years, the wedding side of our business has grown from a one person show to a very successful business which produces beautiful images for over 300 couples each year.
We have won awards in NSW for the last three years running with the Australian Bridal Industry Academy Awards and this year we are yet again in the top running with results released in December.
As we believe that every bride and groom deserves stunning wedding photos, we work at keeping our costs down for you to offer you the best prices possible. We used to operate out of a large warehouse studio in Botany, but find it more cost effective now without a studio front as we can pass the savings directly to you the client, rather than paying the high studio overheads. We also won't tie you down with a lengthy legal contract. Every piece of information regarding your wedding will be emailed to you for reference so you feel safe and in control. We require a $100 - $200 deposit (amount depends on the size of the wedding), to lock your booking in and the balance is due just prior to the wedding.
We provide your images burned to a DVD, posted to your doorstep in 14-30 days in high resolution jpeg files & you own copyright of your own images. If you require a faster edit service, just talk to us and we'll make it happen for you.
At Global Sanctuary, we are committed to our couples and we are there for you every step of your big day. We are problem solvers & trouble shooters and no matter what may go wrong we are there for you.
Our images are published regularly in bridal magazines both on paper and online and we have been featured in BRW magazine and on A Current Affair.
We are very personable and client focused and believe in a world of poor service, that great service is everything.

We have been in the wedding business and across all facets of the photography industry for decades. Experience is everything in this emotional and artistic world.
In 2009 we came number 6 across the entire state of NSW and in 2010 we came in at number 5 with an average score from our brides of 99.37% and with 94 brides voting for us. Look out for us in 2011!
With both Business Partners having a Bachelor of Arts as well as 25 years of working around the world, evolving from the days of film through to digital photography, makes a great combination of skills to have when it comes to the fine art of photography.

I was thrilled with the service provided by Global sanctuary! Our photographer, Jay was highly professional. He was obliging and did not intrude on the day. This discrete photography resulted in many lovely candid and natural images. We were not pressured into buying albums or other hidden extras. For under $400 we had the services of a professional photographer for two hours and a DVD of nearly 200 high quality images. These were delivered to our door 10 days after the wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend Global sanctuary.

Very Frienly service an they understood what i was after. They have lovely work displayed on their website and I'm excited to see what they come up with on our special day.
Most, if not all businesses that quoted were highly professional in their dealings with me (the customer). I had a chat to all 8 businesses after we received all quotes. Additionally, they had some of the best photos on their website and were also able to recommend a videographer to which we have also been able to get a extremely good deal. Very impressed and very happy. I got some product photography work done, and a few days after I dropped off the products she had already finished them (actually she finished the whole shot in a day, amazing turn around). She's really friendly to deal with, and her shots look fantastic. Also she was able to work on just some basic direction and then use her experience and professionalism to do the rest (e.g. recommendations on how to better position the shots, other angles that might help sell the product). Here's a summary: -Quick turn-around -Friendly, Sue & Co were a pleasure to deal with -Great quality shots, out of a batch of 76 only a few were slightly out of focus and even they were great -Very adaptable, I don't think Sue had ever taken the type of products we were after but she managed to find the best shots very quickly -Able to add an artistic element - I'm not a photographer so I had to depend on her experience to find the best angles for some more complex products without having me to micro manage -No hidden costs, setup fees etc.
Great, prompt & friendly service. Reasonably priced & great packages available. Look forward to seeing our photos. Highly recommended. There's no need to look any further!
