The price of an inground swimming pool will be high dependent on the type of material used to construct the shell of your pool. Based on average quoted prices submitted to ServiceSeeking.com.au pool builders, we’ve broken down expected costs you’re likely to pay in the table below
|Type of inground pool||Average Quoted Prices|
|Concrete inground pool||$35,000 – $90,000|
|Fibreglass inground pool||$19,000 – $45,000|
|Vinyl lined with resin shell inground pool||$10,000 – $20,000|
|Natural stone finishes eg pebble, quartz, etc||+$60,000|
In addition to the cost of materials and installation of the inground pool itself, other associated costs include decking or paving around the pool, fencing (required by Australian standards) and accessories such as ladders, filtration systems, cleaners and pumps which are not included in the core installation price.
Once these are factored in, you can expect to add an additional 10% to the total cost of your inground swimming pool.
