Angelo Kirkopoulos, founder of Network Designs, isn’t interested in becoming the biggest name in the industry. No, his goal is to be the best. And over the years, he’s built a solid reputation for doing exactly that—offering smart, creative, and cost-effective design and construction solutions, all while building genuine relationships with his clients.

Network Designs is one of the top businesses on ServiceSeeking.com.au, known for helping customers who don’t even know where to begin. Angelo and his team walk them through the process step by step, from design concepts to final approvals and everything in between.

As he puts it, “From clients contacting us and allowing us to resolve issues they may have experienced from past experiences or contractors…we show them the ropes with an easy solution plan.”

From Passion to Purpose

Angelo’s background is rooted in design and problem-solving. Early in his career, he worked for other people, observed what worked best, and picked up lessons along the way. Eventually, he decided to take what he’d learned and do it on his own terms. “Doing it right the first time without breaking the budget,” he says, was the motivation behind starting his own business.

He describes his work as a combination of creativity and practicality—finding the best solutions for maximum output with minimal fuss. “We eliminate stress for our customers and focus on achieving what’s needed efficiently and effectively,” he shares.

Joining ServiceSeeking

While a lot of new work comes in through word of mouth, Angelo says having ServiceSeeking as a “back-up plan” has been incredibly helpful. “It gets the word around and out there,” he says. “It acknowledges who we are and what we’re about. It helps us help others.”

He’s had many successful projects come through the platform, especially from customers who’ve had poor experiences with other contractors. “ServiceSeeking has helped us achieve this,” he says. “Thanking you.”

What he appreciates most is how easy the platform is to use. “The staff are friendly and helpful,” he adds. “It’s easy to operate, and we like that.”

Building Trust

For Angelo, the key to attracting and keeping clients is through “honesty, communication, understanding, delivery, and friendship.”

He makes sure to explain things clearly, offer solutions, and treat every job like it’s the most important one. “Treat your customers with information on the how-to,” he says. “Express possible concerns. Treat it how you’d want it delivered.”

His most memorable moments? Getting invited back to see the finished projects—clients are proud to show him the results of what they built together. “This happens regularly,” he says proudly.

Overcoming Challenges

Like any business, Network Designs has faced its share of hurdles. One major challenge involved helping a customer who had unknowingly built without proper permits. Angelo stepped in, assessed the situation, and found the best way to resolve it—ultimately securing the needed documentation.

Quick thinking and calm problem-solving are some of his strengths, and he credits those skills with keeping the business running smoothly. “Knowing how to fix major issues quickly and swiftly makes you a good operator,” he says.

Staying Motivated and Looking Ahead

Angelo stays motivated through the support and friendship of his clients, especially during tough periods. He also keeps things balanced with self-managed time and a healthy separation between work and personal life.

As for the future, he’s optimistic. “Good, with the backing of ServiceSeeking and its support,” he says. And in true Angelo fashion, he puts it poetically, “It’s like having a neon sign across the sky raining down upon your face.”

He doesn’t want to dominate the industry—he just wants to keep doing great work for people who need it. If you ask him what success looks like, he’ll say, “Don’t judge myself on our winners. I judge myself on our losers—because we have so few. In fact, probably none.”
