We talked to Jenny Ettia from RJ Graphics Design Group about her first impressions of ServiceSeeking.com.au

What does your business do?
Business Marketing Strategies, Brand Development, Brand Building, Design/ Printing of all marketing items, Promotional DVDs, Website Hosting, Domain Registration, Website Development and Design, Packaging and Point of Sale, Signage Design, Manufacturing and Installation, Large Format Digital Printing.

How many jobs have you quoted on?
15

How many new customers have you won?
Although I have been a member for a long time (we joined in 2008), I’ve really only been an active member for the last two days and have already won 1 job! We are really happy with our decision to work hard on your site and to keep on quoting on jobs!

Is ServiceSeeking.com.au successful in helping you win work?
Yes. The client that we managed to win on ServiceSeeking.com.au was very well suited to our services, and we can give them exactly what they have been looking for; it was a very successful pairing of our two companies!

What other types of marketing does your business do?
We have two sales reps; we participate in Trade Shows, Send eDMs, advertise in specific magazines, direct sales calls, make flyers/letterbox drops, and business to business.

How do they compare to ServiceSeeking.com.au?
ServiceSeeking.com.au is far more specific, and the people advertising on ServiceSeeking.com.au actually have a job to be done. They are a captive audience looking for the best quality company for their specific requirements; it is far better than cold calling or email marketing.

Any tips for new businesses?
My tips would be to think of your price as an entry-level door-opening opportunity to greater things and give the customer as much information about what you do as possible. Have an extensive portfolio of work for them to see and make them feel warm and fuzzy about you before they even talk to you! Do not quote on jobs that you cannot do, so you give other companies a chance also and make sure that you deliver a high-quality job, so your feedback is very positive, and you can win more work based on this.
