You also need to observe electrical safety even when outdoors. During and after a storm, stay away from power lines and always assume that all power lines are deadly. Never swim or play in the water during an electrical storm. Trees should be regularly trimmed and pruned and kept away from power lines; do not fly kites or balloons near power lines.
