Actron ducted system, 8 zones. 2 storey brick house. Roof cavity of second storey has pop-down access hatch. External walls are double brick with cavity. Roof is non-truss. Main indoor unit of A/C is in second storey roof.
For the zones mentioned below, I would like to have a new zone motor added in to the ducting, and a wired wall controller installed so that I can close off airflow to these less-used rooms and send all the respective zones' airflow to the main room of the zone, reaching the set temp sooner and saving energy, but still able to open these new motors if required.
Zone 1 is on the top floor. It feeds 2 outlets in 1 room (Master Bedroom) and 1 outlet in another room (Walk in wardrobe). The zone controller is in the master bedroom. The walk in wardrobe is not usually occupied.
Zone 8 is on the ground floor. It feeds 3 outlets in one room (lounge/dining/kitchen) and 1 outlet in another room (Bedroom 3). Bedroom 3 is rarely used. The zone temperature sensor and master controller are both in the lounge/dining/kitchen. Bedroom 3 has downlights which can be removed to check out access for wiring of new motor controller.
