Our evaporative cooling unit stopped working, followed by a burnout smell and smoke from the evaporative cooling vents. This happened last Friday, where the temperature was around 43 degrees. We are not sure of the cause and the extent of the damage as we haven't inspected the evaporative cooling unit. We would like someone who is experienced to come and provide us a quote for repairs to the motor (If it is motor burnout) OR If the motor cannot be repaired; a quote for a replacement equivalent motor of the same specification and standard.
Note: The person inspecting should be able to provide an invoice or written quote and also, a cause of damage report to lodge the claim with insurer.
