Need a Software Developer with experience in natural language programming (e.g. Python or similar) to assist in creating a new educational software product for web-based application by subscription (or flogging it off to a large company).
The initial task is to write a program fragment to show “proof of concept”, as it is a new application of natural language software. This core of this task centres around the program comparing two brief sentences for equivalent meaning. For example do the following two sentences mean the same thing:
>>” find the speed of the car after 4 seconds”, and
>> “find how fast the car is going 4 seconds after it starts”.
The program needs to return a true/false response to whether the two sentences are equivalent in meaning (note the sentences will always begin with the word “find”.)
If “proof of concept” is attained then the next task I require is a template program (that incorporates the above program fragment) to be written that will allow me to generate a working sample of the product. I would take this to selected high schools (I have contacts at a number of schools), demonstrate to them how it works, and enlist a minimum of five schools to trial the product with their students. This test/modify/retest cycle would continue until we have a minimum viable product.
At this point it would be time to consider how best to bring the product to market as there are a range of possible buyers ranging from individual students online, schools, educational authorities, and companies involved in producing educational software or textbooks. There are no comparable products on the market. It is an entirely new application. The market for the product is also global.
