Well, not all the time…but if you’re tossing up whether or not to re-purchase a membership, we now offer a selection of jobs in your dashboard that you can quote on for free. This way, you can get reacquainted with how it all works, see the sorts of jobs we’re sending through and how many of those you can win for yourself.
No more backyarders
It is now compulsory for every business on our site to supply us with a valid Australian Business Number (ABN); this includes new sign-ups as well as existing businesses. This ensures all businesses are genuine and more accountable, so you won’t have to compete with dodgy traders and their low prices! Later this year, we’ll also be introducing a 100-point identification check where businesses will have to verify their ID.
We’ve stopped using the word cheap
…and replaced it with “affordable.” We want our customers to get a good deal, but not at your expense. There’s a difference between undercutting and being competitive, and we think that’s the difference between the terms “affordable” and “cheap” – which is why we’ve changed up our marketing message. We hope that this will encourage customers not to sacrifice quality for a dirt cheap price.
