2. Removing all furniture or objects which may block the way for installation;
3. Taking advantage of “bulk buying” by installing timber floor for multiple areas at the same time.
What are the typical things that we need to know before we can provide a quote to a customer?
1. Customer's preferred timber flooring product (laminate, bamboo, engineered, hardwood timber, vinyl, hybrid, etc.);
2. The size of the area to be floored (in sq metres) and the conditions of existing floor where the customer plans to install;
3. An ideal time frame for the project;

What advantages does timber floor have over carpet?
It adds unparalleled warmth and beauty to your home;
It adds a homely feel to your house without comprimising on style;
It harmonizes and blends in with almost any surroundings;
It is long lasting - at least 20 years, some hardwood lasts for decades;
It is easy to keep clean and to maintain (Just sweep, vacuum or damp mop regularly);
It can be installed almost anywhere inside a home, except for a bathroom or laundry;
Many timber floors can be refinished to restore their original beauty and style.
How can I care for and maintain my new timber floor?
Sweeping and vacuuming regularly are the best ways to maintain the beauty of your timber floor; Keep your timber floor dry all the time by always mopping up wet spills; You can damp mop (not wet mop) your timber flooring by using a small amount of white vinegar mixed with water. Do not use any abrasive materials or strong ammoniated cleaners (such as pot scrubbers or steel wool) to clean a spill, as they may affect the floor’s décor layer and damage the finish.
How would we help our customer get started with their timber flooring project?
Step One: Start with Choosing Your Preferred Products. Upon receiving your request, we will give you a call asking for more information about your specific needs in timber flooring. We will suggest that you visit our showroom in Browns Plains, Brisbane Southside and select your preferred products. If you cannot come to our showroom, we suggest you visit our online store www.rugsflooring.com.au where you can also make your selection.
Step Two: Narrowing Your Choice and Requesting an Onsite Quote. After selecting your preferred products, we would like to make an appointment with you for a FREE onsite measurement and consultation. We will bring colour samples of your preferred products, as well as some alternatives, to you or your property so you can envision your new timber floor in the context of your interior style. Along with onsite measurement, we will discuss your product choice with you to finalize your preferred product, to suggest ways to overcome difficult issues you may have on your existing floor, and to decide the best way to lay the boards. Finally we will work out the most suitable quote for your new timber flooring, based on your need, your lifestyle and your budget. If you are not ready for an onsite measurement, we can still work out a preliminary quote for you based on your floor plan. All you need to do is email us your floor plan (preferably from your original building plan) to email@example.com.
Step Three: Analyzing the quote and let you make your informed, final decision. After receiving our quote, you should analyze it by checking the cost of each item. Feel free to discuss with us if there is anything you think is unreasonable, or if we missed anything in the quote. Before making your final decision on who you would like to hire, you may wish to request a couple of more quotes from others and compare them. If for some reason you are not ready to go ahead with your timber flooring project or you want to hold the project for a few more months please let us know and we are more than happy to offer help any time when you need.
