Hi my name is Rod Kratzmann and I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years and my trades are concrete & landscape. I have subcontracted most of my life and started a new venture in April 2016 which is my own business called Romac Concrete Constructions. I hold a current QBCC contractors license, certificate 4 in building & construction and know every possible standard to perform your concrete needs to Australiaian Standards including a high quality detailed finish to all concrete finishes.

" Rod and team did an amazing job for us. Excavating a large area of old concrete, pouring new concrete, installing required drainage (downpipes running under newly poured concrete etc) as well as his experience with pool equipment (filtration) - removal and replacing on new area when complete - over an extremely difficult and awkward area. The area was then finished with a coloured sealer sprayed on to complete this wonderful job. I would recommend rod and team for your concreting needs as their wide and varied experience will cover many aspects of your build."

"Rod and his team from Romac Concrete did a excellent job of my driveway. Rod turned up on time to quote the job. He recommended better ways to do the job which was more cost effective and produced a better job. His quote was very competative. He was able to do the drainage and plumbing, as well as the earthworks. Each day Rod and his team turned up on time each day. Further, they were easy to get along and work with. I would highly recommend Romac Concreting and I look forward to working with them again."

"Amazing job! Rod and Mitch went above and beyond our expectations. Rod included additional finishing details we never would have thought of, which really took the concreting to a whole new level. He fixed the plumbing (quite a bit of extra work) and offered a beautiful, aesthetic solution to the drainage which made the finished job look exotic - like paradise. It was a landscaping and concreting service in one. Very professional, prompt and considerate with the noise and cleaning up. Would highly recommend this business."

"I wouldn’t hesitate in referring Rod from “Romac Concrete Constructions” to do a job. We needed an urgent job in cutting up our driveway so that Energex could place a power pole in place in a couple of days’ time. I was not able to meet him onsite, so sent Rod drawings and photos to best explain the job. He came through with flying colours. He was the cheapest quote, and able to do the job in a days’ notice once we informed the tenants of the property on the time frame. Not only did he remove the concrete he cut, he filled in the hole with builders mix to maintain a safe level environment for the tenants in the home. Rod turned up on time, hung around for 30 minutes extra while we tried to contact the tenants that had parked a car in the driveway right where he was doing his job. Which I feel was above and beyond his duty as the site should have been cleared. He took photos and sent them to me, of where he marked out on the ground as to where he was cutting to confirm the right position. And completed the job to our requirements. I have a saying, “It’s not hard to shine, on the sunshine coast in your work”, and this tradesman proved his professionalism. Cheers Rod!"
