Doig Website Technology is the trading name of me, Steve Doig.
I have been working with websites since 1999. In that time, I have seen a lot of different technologies to power websites.
My favourite website software is now WordPress. It’s a flexible platform, which can be extended in many different ways using themes and plugins. I also work with Joomla, which is a bit more appropriate to content portals, like local government websites, and Magento, for large e-commerce websites.
As an aside, I have been working in IT technical support for 15 years. I have learnt how to diagnose problems, determine the most appropriate solution, and serve the customer well.
