I have 14 years experience in the fitness industry. I don't believe that exercise should be about extremism. We are all different and we need to take into account our lifestyle, sleep, stress levels, nutrition and health in order to have an exercise program that will make us healthy and will not leave us burnt out and worn out.
Should a mother with small children getting a lack of sleep be doing the same amount of exercise as someone with a less stressful lifestyle? Many people are suffering with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, burnt out adrenals and general bad health because there is so much confusion about exercise and diet. Good health is about looking at our overall lifestyle and habits and creating something that is sustainable and works for us.
