"Peter did some wallpaper hanging which was fine. However, his painting was not good. He painted the doors, windows and architraves but the paint is peeling off all of the doors. He merely painted over the old oil based paint and never sanded or undercoated the doors. He didn't sand or fill any defects but just painted over them. I would not use him again for painting and if he was still around I would request he come back and fix the problems he has caused."

"Customer was advised that putting acrylic paint ( supplied by her ) over gloss enamel would not work. She told me that the doors only had to last for 1 week over Christmas as they would be replaced by her builder when new doors arrived. just wanted them to look white. She didn't want to spend money on patching or filling something that was going to be replaced."
