Meet Julian.

He’s the man to call to deal with those pesky creatures that can enter even the cleanest of homes — from bed bugs to rats and everything in between.

Arriving from the UK ten years ago, Julian started out in Australia owning a successful carpet cleaning business, which he parted from in 2010. With a bit more research and work experience under his belt, he made the plunge into the pest control industry in early 2015. Nine months later and the proud owner of family business Pest2Kill, Julian says it was a decision he’s “never looked back on.”

Despite being relatively young, Pest2Kill has quickly earned a place as one of Service Seeking’s best-reviewed businesses, boasting a positive feedback rating of 100%. For Julian, he says that building up good reviews in such a short amount of time has been “purely down to the quality of work.”

“We are owner-operated, so I work and employ another five guys, including my own brother… we all wear our name on our sleeve,” he says.

“I think the fact that we are diverse and offer both traditional methods and green solutions definitely stands out, too. Most pest companies are one or the other.”

Offering green alternatives and giving solutions that look after the local ecosystem has always been a priority at Pest2Kill. Their care factor is high, particularly when handling toxic treatments that can affect the neighbouring environment.

Even when it comes to the more challenging pest problems, Julian says, “There is no creature too little or too big… we don’t discriminate!”

“We have solved some pretty bad bed bug infestations this summer. I had a lady from North Bondi who had an infestation so bad she couldn’t sleep at night. She was very grateful we removed the nasty creatures,” he says.

Taking on a job that makes most people’s skin crawl isn’t so bad when you genuinely enjoy what you do.

“I like being on the move, not stuck in an office. Other aspects of the job can also be very satisfying. Pests such as cockroaches and rats are disease carriers, so you are improving the quality of people’s lives.”
