Quoting is the only way to win jobs on ServiceSeeking.com.au. If you’re new on the site and you need some help sending a quote, then you’re on the right page.
First, you need to log in to your account. Then, click Leads on the navigation bar.
Once you’re on the leads page, you’ll be able to see all the available jobs in your area and industry. To view the job details, click Show full details. If you think you’re the perfect business for the job, click Contact Customer. Clicking Discard this lead will remove the job from your page.
After clicking Contact Customer, the side bar will reveal fields you must fill in to quote. The first thing you need to do is select the type of price you want to give — approximate, fixed, range, or rate.
The fields change depending on the type you select:
- When you choose approximate or fixed, you’ll only need to input the price.
- Be sure to enter a minimum and maximum price when you select price range.
- When choosing the fourth quote type, don’t forget to change the rate after putting the price.
You can also indicate whether the price you gave is already inclusive of GST by ticking the box.
Before you send your quote, you also have the option to include a message. It’s best not to leave this blank. Aside from professionally greeting your customer, you can also say a few things about your business — how long you have been in the industry, your specialisations and services, and whether or not you’ll be needing a site visit.
If you don’t want to write about your company every time you give a quote, you can save it as a template. You can also send yourself a copy of your quote — just tick Email me a copy.
After you’ve completed everything, click Send Quote and it’s done! The job will then be removed from your leads page and added to your Quotes page.
