Having taken early retirement due to shoulder surgery l began a small gardening service predominantly in the Aged Care sector. In mid 2025 l began to look further afield and started taking bookings from the general public. It has been a trial and error period in which l found my strengths and weaknesses. This has lead to me confining my services to mowing, slashing, edging, pruning and hedging under a 3 mt height limit. Other services might be supplied if not requiring too much heavy lifting.
In 6 months l have reached 75% of the optimal number of clients that l can look after so there are still vacancies if you are looking for affordable lawn care. I also put a day aside each week to tackle the larger jobs that require more time, gardens that haven’t been maintained and jungles that need to be tamed.
I am choosy about who l take on as regular customers and will only do so if l believe we are a good match. Of course everyone is free to be spiteful and leave a 1 star review if they don’t make the cut.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Cheers jack
