We are Australia’s largest building inspection company
Delivering Professional Building Inspection Services Across Australia.
We provide clear, detailed, and professional building inspection reports that ensure your building is safe and up to standard, whether you’re buying, selling, or maintaining the property.
Emmetropia Inspections is a specialised building inspection company based in Melbourne, dedicated to providing thorough, high-quality pre-purchase and new build inspections across metropolitan Victoria.
Established in 2023, we’ve quickly built a reputation for unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction and excellence. Our Director, Jack, brings over 16 years of hands-on experience in the building industry — having constructed hundreds of homes for satisfied clients before pivoting his passion into professional inspections. This practical background allows us to spot issues that others often miss and ensure every property meets (and exceeds) Victorian building standards.
We specialise in:
• New Build Inspections: Pre-pour, frame, pre-plaster, pre-paint, final, pre-settlement, and 3-month maintenance inspections.
• Pre-Purchase Inspections: For existing homes, giving buyers peace of mind.
• Advanced Diagnostics: Using thermal imaging and professional tools to uncover hidden defects like waterproofing issues, structural concerns, and compliance problems.
At Emmetropia Inspections, we treat every inspection as if it were our own home. We deliver clear, detailed written reports with photos, practical advice, and ongoing support so you can avoid costly surprises and make confident decisions. Whether you’re building your dream home or buying an existing property, our goal is simple: protect you with honest, expert insights and exceptional service.
Clients consistently praise our attention to detail, clear communication, and commitment to going above and beyond. We’re proud to help Melbourne homeowners and builders deliver quality results.
