My name is Owen. In a nutshell I am a photographer by trade and passion, an environmentalist by degree, musician by heart, lover of the arts, crusader for wildlife and humanitarian issues.
I have extensive experience as an interior design, architecture and real estate photographer. I enjoy the work. I really dig design. By nature I am a creative person and to be able to create images on a daily basis for work is so rewarding.
And then I found portraiture.
Not only did the elements of design and creativity apply but also the possibility to convey emotion. There is something so profound in the human spirit that I try to engage with my photography. I love working with people.
I am a traveler. My camera is my journal. From the streets of Europe to the treks of the Himalayas, the desert of out back Australia or the forests of the Amazon. These opportunities have enabled me to meet and share moments, stories and time with some remarkable people. It’s this connection with people that brings me the most joy and satisfaction in life and what I want to share with you through photography.
