My name is Alisia and I'm a Celebrant. I'd love to help you make your wedding perfect for you.
I can meet with you in person, over the phone or via skype to make your wedding just what you would like.
I aim to help you have a stress free ceremony, guide you through the legalities and my relaxed professional approach to your ceremony will ensure you enjoy your day.
I have a number of beautiful ceremonies you can use, some modern, simple and meaningful and some traditional. I also enjoy writing ceremonies just for you.
To enrich the ceremony I can recommend some love poems and wedding readings specially selected to enhance your day.
My fees are very reasonable, and include all aspects: our meetings, the ceremony, a rehearsal, legalities and registration.
These can be celebrated in the garden of a family home, or any of Sydney's beautiful gardens and parks.
These locations are limited only by your imagination! They may include Collaroy, Balmoral or Hawkesbury River
Private or Secret weddings can be arranged for couples who wish to keep their weddings a quiet and private day.
My PA system ensures your guests can hear your lovely ceremony and includes connections to your music, or I can play some beautiful music.
I have a table and chair and candles that you are very welcome to use.
Please call me, so we can make your wedding very special.
I commenced my quest to become a celebrant shortly after becoming engaged myself. At the time I had three engaged cousins and three very close friends also engaged – so I was guaranteed some employ (of non paying variety). However, it was mostly that I wanted a family member of mine to marry my fiancée and I. So my aunty and I both trained up, became celebrants together. Having her at the end of the aisle with my husband was perfect.
There is no greater honour than to be a part of someone’s special day. I’ve worked in many different roles before and no job has given me more pleasure. A wedding is truly a day of great celebration, for both the bride and groom who have found each other in the big wide world and made a commitment to share their dreams and desires together – and for the family and friends who gain much pleasure in seeing their happiness.
I like to work outside the box, creating a ceremony that truly reflects the couple getting married. I enjoy brain storming and having open discussions to work together on a ceremony that leaves the bride, groom and the guests feeling satisfied. I like that a good ceremony can awake feelings in everyone present and inspire us to love, honour, respect and trust the special people in our lives. Perhaps a gentle reminder that we should live to serve each other, making other people’s happiness a priority in each day.
