David Ayliffe is summed up best by this referral: "David was so wonderful to us in every way possible. He was so so calm and gentle and reassuring, when I was late to appointments, or worried or nervous. At the wedding, he was amazing, so gentle, fun, and reassuring. Just contact me on any of the contact points provided and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I will take the worry out of anything to do with your upcoming ceremony - be it wordings of ceremony, legal aspects of your marriage, or just a nice poem to have read in your ceremony.
Including wedding ceremonies - some of the other ceremonies I'm very qualified to help you with are - Same Sex Commitment - or Marriage (depends what the politicians decide upon).
I can also help you with - Commitment for De facto Couples, Funerals, Naming Day for your child or adult, Renewal of Vows - popular on the special anniversary or birthday.

My fees are reasonable for the work required for your fantastic, personalised Ceremony - I will give you a fully explained, written quote on our first meeting.
But first of all I would need to find out from you about the ceremony you would like, the location of the ceremony is important, and a few other things.
I'm happy to meet with you to discuss your ceremony at any preplanned venue, my office at Wheelers Hill, your place, a local cafe or coffee shop or at your work place.
If you require help with any aspect of the planning of your wedding - I have a large resource file I'd be happy to share with you. Venues, Photographers, cakes, Dressmakers - most of the Wedding service providers.

A professional jazz singer and MC, Kimba has long been entranced by the wedding ceremony. After performing at 350+ ceremonies, Kimba has worked out all the elements needed to make a wedding ceremony flow beautifully and capture each unique couple.
I came to the work of celebrancy on a long road. Singing at hundreds of wedding ceremonies with my husband Ryan in our jazz duo, I was captivated by those ceremonies that really worked; they had a flow, everyone knew what was happening, the readings and format suited the couple and the audience felt part of it, and had their attention held. I also saw many where this was not the case. Over time I started to make notes and soon I realised that I was being called to do this, and to do it well!
I also have a passion for people and their stories, for their differences and also the things that tie us all. Modern rituals are something of a passion for me, and I love hearing about people's unique backgrounds and experiences, and working out how to incorporate these into a ceremony that really speaks to that couple and to the people that love them.
I offer a unique (optional) service that incorporates live music as part of the package. My husband plays instrumental guitar (jazz, classical, folk/acoustic and flamenco) prior to the ceremony's beginning as I support the groom/couple and welcome guests. The ceremony begins and Ryan and I play your choice of song for the aisle walk. You can easily find my music via soundcloud, spotify or good old Google.
During the signing Ryan plays more gorgeous guitar and at the closing of the ceremony, I again sing your choice of song as you are both congratulated by family and friends.
Please drop me a line and tell me your vision for the big day!
I travel all over the state of Victoria and also go to Albury Wodonga and surrounds. I may even be lured to Canberra, being born and bred there.
I also work with other ceremonies and in other contexts. I work as a doula for the dying and their families, conduct funerals, wakes and farewells. I also have an interest in women's mysteries and work including red tent rituals, menarche blessings and croning ceremonies.
We offer a lovely intimate marriage ceremony in Melbourne's Private Marriage Registry (which is in a small Aboriginal Art Gallery space in South Yarra), where you can have from two to 35 guests and be married in one month's time from signing the Notice of Intended Marriage. Our most affordable ceremonies start from $315 all inclusive. Call us to chat more about it. Or visit www.melbournemarriageregistry.com.au
So you are now engaged and wondering where to start with the ceremony. Well I'm here to help you create a wonderful and beautiful ceremony. I like to say that a ceremony should be what you have always imagined. As one of the most sought after male marriage celebrants in Melbourne, I am here to answer any questions you may have. I love being a celebrant and was voted the 2013 Top Male Celebrant in Melbourne Victoria. Add professionalceremonies on Facebook to keep up with all the latest articles, testimonials and photos.
I am based in Monbulk, for all the Yarra Valley and Mt Dandenong weddings as well as out of St Kilda for all the city, and bayside weddings. If you are trying to work to a budget, and I know weddings can be costly, I do offer discounts, depending on the time of day and venue. Just ask me, I can help most couples.
I offer all couples a free no-obligation meeting so you can compare celebrants and get a good feel for the type of celebrant style you prefer. I always come to you to make it easy and I see clients in the evenings or weekends and I see clients from Pakenham to Werribee. David
