Pool Surround Concreting – Oxley QLD
Looking for an experienced, appropriately licensed concreter for a residential pool surround project in Oxley.
Approximate scope:
- Around 25–30 m² of new concrete around an existing swimming pool
- Site preparation and excavation as required
- Compacted base preparation
- Supply and installation of reinforcement mesh
- Concrete supply, pour and finishing
- Two full-width concrete steps beside the pool
- Low concrete planter boxes around existing trees
- Slab to be finished ready for tiling
- Slab edge/set-out to run square with the proposed fence line beside the patio step
- Spoil removal and disposal
- Final levels/falls to suit the pool area and subsequent tiling
Urban Utilities sewer access has now been resolved.
A 1200 x 1200 mm section is required to be centred over the sewer main/property connection junction. The concrete is to be saw-cut around this section, preferably aligned with the future tile grout lines, with the saw-cut filled with suitable sealant. No expensive access hatch is required.
Strip drains are no longer part of the scope. The area beside the slab will instead be finished with decorative white stone.
Pool inspector/certifier will attend before the pour to confirm final levels, steps and pool-barrier clearances.
