Based on the report, professional bathroom renovators in ACT are charging 33% higher for their services in FY15 than in FY14. This means that the average cost of bathroom renovation work went up from $75/hr to $100/hr.
Figures also showed a 55% increase in the budget prices of bathroom renovation services. From $50/hr in FY14, budget rates leaped to $77.50/hr — a remarkable $27.50 jump over the past financial year.
Tas, Vic, NSW, and Qld recorded lower average rates for bathroom renovators in FY15. Tas had the largest price drop at 18%, and the state now has the cheapest average price as well. On the other hand, SA, WA, and ACT saw an upward movement in the average cost of hiring bathroom renovators. SA made the biggest increase at 45%; however, due to a 33% price jump, ACT now has the most expensive bathroom renovation services.
