Hiring a band or musician for your event costs 60% higher this year as well; the average rate is now $160/hr. In contrast, limousine and car hire saw slightly lower prices this year. From $200/hr in FY14, it's now priced at an average of $180/hr this year.

Differing trends in pricing can be seen across various states in Australia. In Qld, for instance, the prices of most of the wedding and events services were reduced. SA and Vic, on the other hand, saw prices increase in some areas and decrease in others.
